New York – So darn brilliant, they named it twice (and why I’ve been countless times). There really is no place on Earth quite like The Big Apple. It’s one of those places I’ll return to time and time again. And with that, here’s 20 of my favourite things to do to inspire your own itinerary….

Virginia and Washington DC – You won’t find much about Old Town Alexandria in the travel guides but trust me, this little town in Virginia is worth a visit. Washington DC, on the other hand, is just up the road and is the thriving capital of the USA – and a bucket list favourite.

Cyprus 🇨🇾

Southern and northern Cyprus – For Cyprus with a Greek influence, visit the south! In my opinion, it’s here where you’ll find the best food, the prettiest villages and the friendliest Cypriot folk. If you want Cyprus with a Turkish influence, visit the north! With super sandy, unpopulated and remote beaches, you can find real serenity (and hoards of donkeys) here.

Czech Republic 🇨🇿

Prague – If you’re looking for a Winter Wonderland, you simply must visit Prague at Christmas! Oozing with impressive architecture, super-cheap beer and the cosiest of Yuletide atmospheres, what could be better?

Greece 🇬🇷

Crete – If sun, sea and snow-capped mountains are your thing, you’ll fall in love with Crete. You’ll also fall head over heels for the magnificent food and uber-pretty harbours – guaranteed!

Kefalonia – Oh how I love this perfect island escape! Mountains, beaches, caves and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin are what you can expect here, not forgetting hot sunshine and super friendly locals.

Zakynthos – The home of crystal clear iridescent turquoise seas, the famous shipwreck and the stunning Blue Caves. See past Zante’s reputation as the Greek ‘party island’ because it is SO much more!

Holland 🇳🇱

Den Haag – Holland’s not all about ‘The Dam’ – The Hague (and its surrounding area) still has the tulips, the cheese and the canals – but with a hearty dose of beach thrown in for good measure too!

Italy 🇮🇹

Rome – The Vatican! The Colosseum! The Spanish Steps! The Trevi Fountain! The pizza! The pasta! Rome packs so much into one city! If you haven’t visited yet, what are you waiting for?

Morocco 🇲🇦

Marrakech – There’s no doubt that exotic Marrakech has so much to offer – from bustling souks, to pretty palaces. Here’s my Top 10 must-see/ must-do’s to ensure that you can get the most out of your Moroccan adventure….

Spain 🇪🇸

Barcelona – If a girls (or lads) weekend trip is on the cards, look no further than Barcelona. Perfecta! Read what me and my Señoritas got up to when we visited the city of sangria, paella and Antoni Gaudi.

Seville – I defy anyone not to love this gorgeous Spanish city. It has the hottest weather, the most amazing food and there’s so much to see and do. I’d go back in a flash – like, right this second!

UK – England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Blackpool – Not just stag and hen do’s, pensioner coach trips and ‘kiss me quick’ hats, Blackpool has a feel-good charm that makes it one of Britain’s best-loved seaside breaks.

Chester – Founded as a fort by the Romans all the way back in the AD70s, it was called ‘Deva Victrix’, – and what an iconic ‘deva’ Chester is!

Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly – In this bumper blog, I explore the north, south and west of Cornwall, each with its own unique character and appeal – as well as the Isles of Scilly with its own micro-climate, leading to it unofficially being given the title of ‘Britain’s Caribbean’.

Cotswolds – There may be no prettier place in England than the Cotswolds, with its thatched-roofed houses with honey-coloured stone, lavender fields and an abundance of colour. England at its finest!

Lake District – Want to switch your phone off and forget about work for a while? Where better to do this than ‘The Lakes’ with its marvellous mountains, winding walks and – as it says on the tin – lakes?

Liverpool – Home to The Beatles, Brookside, Cilla Black, Ferry ‘cross the Mersey and the infamous Scouse Brow, Liverpool will be sure to delight you!

London – London calling? Of course it is! Discover my top tips, right here, to help you plan your trip to the Big Smoke!

Manchester – See why Manchester has everything you can want in British city break, from shopping to Coronation Street tours and stunning architecture at every turn.

North Yorkshire – From coast to city. This blog ventures to Whitby (famed for Bram Stoker’s Dracula and the best fish and chips in the north) and York, where you can experience Romans, Vikings, ghosts and Harry Potter all in one city.

Shrewsbury – If you like Tudor houses, good food and river walks, this unassuming town in Shropshire is sure to hit the spot!

UK – Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A wee Scottish Road Trip – Bonny Scotland is the perfect place for a road trip, with stunning scenery and hotspots like the Black Isle, Inverness, Loch Ness, the Moray Firth, the North Coast 500 and Royal Deeside to visit. Read where my road trip took me!

Shetland Isles – If you’re willing to be adventurous (and catch an overnight ferry or flight from mainland Scotland), then the Shetland Isles may be your next trip: Dramatic landscapes, remote beaches, wildlife….and vikings! Yes, vikings!

UK – Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

North Wales – Coast, castles and charm. From the wild wilderness of Anglesey, to the nostalgic Llandudno and picture-perfect Portmeirion, it’s fair to say that North Wales has bags of appeal.

South Wales – Enough coastline to walk your socks off, small islands to explore and sandy beaches to laze the day away on. My blog covers some of Pembrokeshire’s most gorgeous spots including Tenby, Caldey Island, Saundersfoot, St David’s and the Stackpole Estate.
